I am wondering if anyone has had a low score for basal tear production, but a high score for reflex tear production. If you got plugs, did they help much?

Sponsor sk11 06-22-2006, 09:40 PM yes but what is your story? np1981 06-23-2006, 02:56 AM I was diagnosed with dry eyes (aqueous tear defiency) and conjunctivochalasis (Dr Tseng). I have never had laser eye surgery or any previous eye surgery. I have since had plugs since my original post, but was wondering - if my lacrimal glands are capable of producing tears, but for some reason are not producing enough on a regular basis, what does that mean? Is it just a "lazy" gland or is it something to do with low sensitivity? Are plugs essentially a permanent solution? muvxiek 06-25-2006, 05:02 AM My father had such problem. Homoeopathist did help him. |
