These so-called "bone building" drugs that are supposed to "reverse the effects of osteoporosis", can cause serious heartburn. This should be reported to your doctor immediately. If he knows anything about the drugs, he'll advise to quit taking them since the problem can lead to ulcers and damage the digestive system beyond repair.

Fosamax killed my dear friend last year. He didn't know that his acid reflux was caused by the drug and took it for far too long until his digestive system completely failed. He suffered incredibly for a long time.
