Since my GERD has got bad, the past couple weeks, I have had this prickly itchy skin. Anyone else heard of this.

What have you been eating since your GERD returned? It could be that you have a food allergy or intolerance that has made your stomach bad and is also giving you a skin reaction.
It may also be that the two are unrelated and that you have been doing something else to give you itching skin.
