I tried to quit 5 days ago.
I'm doing OK during the day. I wake up and put on the patch and I can manage the urges.
Thats good because I work from home and I'm used to smoking all day long.
But at night, around 9 or 10pm, I can't stand it. Its horrible and I end up going out to buy a pack and I have a few smokes. I have maybe 3 of them.
Then the next day I'm OK again.
I understand that I should distract myself to try to break the mental & physical habit. I lost my sense of balance to Lyme disease so taking a walk is not an option. I have to hang onto the walls when I walk around in my own home. :)
I tried fruit bars, salty snacks, deep breathing, taking a bath, crocheting, and more eating.
Any advice from anyone?
Thanks and peace and health to all.
