Hiya all, i'm new here just wondered if anyone got any advice or has suffered from PVC's during pregnancy.
I'm 31 weeks pregnant (age 25) and since i was about 10 weeks i have been suffering with PVC's daily (sometimes 50 times a day sometimes only 5). I had the odd PVC before i was pregnant but only every now and again so i never really took much notice.
I had Echo and 24 hour monitor which came back as normal - no heart disease but suffering from PVC's and tachycardia. This was when i was about 24 weeks pregnant.
Although the Cardiologist said they were benign i can't help but still get very scared especially when they get very bad.
Anyone else pregnant experiencing these? or any mum's out there who had similar during pregnancy????

yes ive had them during pregnancy. 3000+ a day and im just fine. i had two echos and two halters while i was pregnant and they all said the same thing, my heart was perfectly normal. they do get worse after the baby is born but after a couple monthes they should get better. pvc;s are really scary but its just something you have to learn isnt gunna kill you and doesnt mean there is anything wrong with your heart or else your life will be one big panic attack. im 20yrs old and i have two little boys, 4 and 10 monthes, ive had pvc;s for 3.5 yrs. my pvc;s were HORRIBLE when i was pregnant and i had low blood pressure so i felt like i was dieing but in the end it was definitley all worth it, i might even have another someday :)

Hi, thanks for you reply! Wow 3000+ a day, did you feel every single one! I think it is a hormone related thing. I trying my hardest to stay off beta blockers but as they get worse i'm finding it hard!
did you give birth naturally? or by c-section?
(I'm getting quite scared about having PVC's during labour/birth)

Hey I have the same problem...in the beginning of both my pregnancies I had bad PVC's...they got worse after my first baby was born...like every day...but after a couple months went away...now i'm 5 months pregnant with my second baby and I had the weird heart beats in the beginning but now I don't have them now except when I stopped breastfeeding my son 3 weeks ago and wow those pvc came back with a bang...ANYTHING hormone related I get the pvcs...period, pregnancy, breastfeeding....I hate hormones! :(
