I suggest that you see a rheumatologist, neurologist, and pain management doctor.

My daughter gets light headed and she has chronic fatigue. I have some muscular pain due to chronic myofascial pain and I feel achey when a cold front moves in. Most of my fibrosymptoms are gone or in remission.

I was initially diagnosed by my internal med dr. and then the 3 i listed. The care provided by my pain mgmt dr which included onsite physical therapy and intramuscular injections was very successful for me however we are all different in what works for one doesn' work for another.

Just don't give up. You and only you are in charge of your health and specialists are a part of your team. (In other words, educated yourself and don't take what they say as truth until you have researched on your own. There are alot of healthcare professionals that don't know about or understand fibromyalgia.)

I highly recommend the book Fibromyalgia and Chronic Myofascial Pain, A Survival Manual. It saved my sanity and gave me the knowledge i needed to get proper treatment. She covers everything, all those weird symptoms.

I hope that this gives you some hope. The ball is in your court as they say.

Take care and keep the faith,

Donna

sounds like fibro to me but you need to have MS ruled out. Everyone I know is tested for that to rule it out. There is no test for fibro except the tender point test, for atleast 11 of 18 tenderpoints. I couldn't find my own, but my doc's could.

I would still make the appointments even if you have to wait.
