I've heard it said that nicotine is more addictive than heroin. You've made it three days! That's awesome! :D You can't have it in your head that the withdrawals are going to do you in. You have to tell yourself that "I'll be damned if I'm going to let these withdrawals beat me!!!" Without faith in yourself, you won't succeed. Focus on one hour at a time. Don't even think about how hard it'll be next week. Deal with that when you reach it. Your goal is to get through the day. The pride that you feel in yourself with each day smoke-free is amazing. :) I don't know you, but I just *know* you have the strength to do this! ;) Hang in there!

Today is day 4 I feel better mentally no more panic atttacks but my body is my own worst enemy at the moment I know it's just all the toxins leaving my body but do they have to leave all at the same time from every possible oriface (I know pretty gross). Like I said I've quit before but have never had this reaction before, at least I'm not too worried about weight gain at the moment as it's pretty impossible :) Thanks for the encouragement

this is my second day as well, cold turkey and yes its rough, but i do feel better, i guess proud of myself, didnt think i could do it, and yes you have to take it one hour at a time at least thats how im doing it. if i think too far in advance i'll get panic attacks. every hour i dont smoke is one hour closer to better health lol. hang in there hon, i know we can beat this dragon. :)
