Ok, so since HS (10 years ago) I have gained about 7 pounds. I now would like to those pounds and few more. I am between 5'3 and 5'4 and want to weigh about 120 pounds. What is a good way to quick start a diet? I see advertisements offering to lose 7 pounds in 7 days and am wondering how they do it. I still want to be able to eat. :bouncing:

Diets that promise 7 lbs in 7 days are not healthy and *most* of what you would lose will be water. Don't buy the hype. There's a lot of gimmicks. here's a link to a previous thread on dieting *healthfully* for weight loss:

If you eat sensibly and start some kind of an exercise program, you should see steady and long term weight loss. Just avoid the crash diets. They do not work and you'll get nothing from them but disappointment.
