Okay so I have been driving myself crazy for about a year now. Right before I left for college a bunch of my friends decided we should go to a strip club to celebrate. One of them paid for a lap dance for me because I said I didn't want one. Once there she took off her underwear and removed mine and began rubbing her vagina up and down my penis but there was never any insertion. I would never have thought any more of this considering I have never had sex before but for the past year now I feel like every symptom of HIV has graced me with their presence. I've been anxious to the point of insanity and I just need to know what you think and if these symptoms could just be a part of me stressing out about it. Everyday I wake up tired, with muscle aches, sore throats, fevers, etc. Please give some advice and thanks for your time.

I can't see that this is a risk. What you participated in is called "frotage". HIV is not tranmitted sexually except through insertive, ejaculatory sex. Also, there is a greater risk to the woman from you (if, of course, you were HIV+).

Yes, and that is what many people have told me but I am a bit more worried because I have what resembles small genital worts. I have not had any other encounters and my dad actually had a form of genital worts that weren't STD related so I was wondering if it could be something caught from bathrooms, etc. Any thoughts on that would be great and thanks again this is a wonderful site for anyone with any type of problem.

genital warts are not HIV. Go to you doctor and have him/her check them out.

Okay again very encouraging and i am seeing my doctor on monday. Only other question is that a week and a half after the incident my penis was very itchy and I had a sore throat, pure coincidence or not?

I think that stress and coincidence are possible for most of the anxiety we see on this post. You are doing the right thing. You are going to the doctor. But I still think you're OK. Hang in there...and have a great weekend. Do something fun...eat a gallon of ice cream. chris

It is all in your head. A stipper touched you and you think you have HIV? That is very irrational thinking. IF it bother you so, then get tested.

haha that's all very encouraging. I went to my family doctor today who had very extensive blood work done on me but nothing relating to HIV because he dismisses that as a factor. He is sending me to a urologist to look at the genital warts but it just seems very odd that i always feel so tired and have aches in my arms and legs. I have started to break out on my shoulders and on my back a little, just wondering if you have any thoughts on this. My doctor does very little to try to figure out the problem and seems that me not having the energy to get through the day can simply be blamed on allergies. Any insight would be great you have all been extremely helpful through all of this
