Okay so I have been driving myself crazy for about a year now. Right before I left for college a bunch of my friends decided we should go to a strip club to celebrate. One of them paid for a lap dance for me because I said I didn't want one. Once there she took off her underwear and removed mine and began rubbing her vagina up and down my penis but there was never any insertion. I would never have thought any more of this considering I have never had sex before but for the past year now I feel like every symptom of HIV has graced me with their presence. I guess there could have been a chance of secretion but I don't really remember anything significant. I've been anxious to the point of insanity and I just need to know what you think and if these symptoms could just be a part of me stressing out about it. Everyday I wake up tired, with muscle aches, sore throats, fevers, etc. Please let me know what you think and what other reasons there could be if you have any. Thanks

hey, i've been freaking out as much as you have over the past couple of days and I know how it feel sto not have anyone reply to your post. so i thought maybe i could try to offer some advice.
let me firts say that i am by no means an expert. all of my knowledge comes from internet research, and i'm not even saying i'm any good at that ;)

But what I can tell you for sure is that the experience you described puts you at very very very low risk. And i mean very low. you said nothing about any actual penetration and, honestly, from what I have read even if there had been unprotected penetration you are still at pretty low risk. that is considering you are male and had no open sores on your genitals at the time of this supposed exposer. I say supposed becuase you do not even know this woman's status with, statistically, makes the risk even lower.
Basically what i'm trying t say is that female to male infection from unprotected intercourse (which you say you did not even have with this woman) is not as common as the media tries to scarre us all into believing. HOWEVER, please do not think that I'm condoning unprotected or promiscuous activity in any way. Always use a condom!

I think the "symptoms" you're describing are being broughton by something completely other than HIV. You are well past the window to have an accurate test result so go ahead and have a test done just to clear your anxiety. But based on the story you posted i can almost gaurantee that your test will be negative.

Now...please tell me the nameof that strip club! Giggity-Giggity!

haha love the family guy reference, and thanks even more for the response. I know that the chances are low I just feel that I fit everything and my anxiety then takes a turn for the worst. I think I will get tested soon. The only other reason I'm concerned is because a week and a half after I went there my "area" became itchy and I also had a sore throat. Any thoughts on this? Thanks

Did you kiss her??? Could very well be Mono. Check that out and it's symptoms. Calm down alright, life goes on and you need to do the right thing in getting tested. I can't believe the Family Guy got on this site. Way to cool, that show definitley cheers a person up. Its Peanut Butter Jelly Time, okay, I'm gonna get introuble with the moderator and the Senior Members on this site. I need to knock itoff. Anyways take care and be cool... -Chadster
