I have been suffering on and off a severe ache in my upper torso, (between my lower rib cage and top of breasts) similiar to indegestion but definetly doesnt feel like it.My boobs really ache with it also.
it feels like someone is sqeezing me really tight and gosh it aches really bad. i have it now and it has lasted for about 4 hours so far the last time i had it was last friday and i had it severly all day.
i will be going to the doctor but i was wanting some suggestions

This is what I had when I had gallbladder problems, and had surgery to have it out. This is all I can think of. You can also get this ache with stomache problems, sometimes after eating fried or spicey foods.

i actually thought that but every thing that i have read suggestions stabbing pain not aches

rina, I had a horrible constant non stop ache in my stomache, right in the middle below the breast bone, and on my right side, where the gallbladder is, and it went around to my back, no stabbing pains. But everybody is different!

keep a track of what you eat, certain foods could trigger reactions. sorry its all i can think of..let us know what yur doc said

Do have any heartburn,if you do your symptoms sound similar to what i experience off and on .I have gerd,acid reflux.I can tell you that the symptoms of gallbladder disease and gerd are similar.I get a pain underneath my right breast on my ribcage.Sometimes it is a burning pain,that later subsides to and ache .It can go on sometimes for hrs or days.Hope this helps

Hello,
I have the dull ache all of the time, with a sharp pain once in awhile. I just went thru ultrasound, CT scan and HIDA scan. They discovered polyps on my gallbladder and was also enlarged. Now they have me scheduled for an endoscopy on friday :round: I talked to my GP yesterday and he does'nt seem to think I need my gallbladder removed :mad: Think I will get another opinion! Am also checking into Celiac's disease(sprue)
