i've been suffering from headaches and pain around the eyes lately.
When I think about it, I had these pains all of my life just that this year the allergy and the pain started being more severe.
After 2 monthes of waiting to my appointment i got today to the ent.
I was certain that he'll send me to a CT SCAN but he just opened my nostrils and said that he found that the mucous membrane is allergic and that my turbinates are swollen and pale.
So eventually he gave me a nasal spray called FLIXONASE 0.05%.
Could you explain me what does this diagnose means(do I have sinusitis?), does this treatment usually helps?is it a steroid spray? What are the risks of taking it? Why did not the doc want me to take a ct scan ?
Do you think I need to take anyother medication such as antihistmanic pills or smth else in order to help my aches? could the treatment vanish my problem completely?
btw:
I'm suffering from allergic conjunctivits also and i am getting allergy shots, i'm at the 2nd month already.
Thanks in advance.
