If i have written something 'religious' related and saved it on my desktop in a text file. That file just disappears from nowhere when i thought some of those 'bad thoughts'. Then my reaction to it is my Pure-O/OCD stuff or something real 'paranormal' is happening around me!

Obsessions, Skip. Magical thinking springs to mind here, and is very common in OCD.

Like a scene i remember , but the scenes before those were gone , the entire story looked changed .... ............ and both times i saw that on a movie channel so there were no rip offs!!

Hey Skip

Yeah, they are very much obsessive thoughts. Everybody gets odd sensations, thoughts or feelings... some really uncanny or paranormal or whatever. "Normal" people think these things all the time (so you and me are both normal). However most people just laugh, but the thing about OCD is that it attaches a signifcance to these thoughts, we obsess about em, and it freaks us out a bit. Now if you didnt have OCD I doubt you would have thoguht twice about that movie, right?

I remember once when I was younger... I could have SWORN I saw something move in a picture. It scared the hell out of me. Then because I thought about it, I kept experiencing things like that all the time. See how the brain does stuff to us?

Paranormal thoughts, magical thinking, being scared of being possesed, being fearful of blasphemous thoughts... its all very much the same thing in OCD. While a large part of OCD is physical in origin, some of it stems from the fear of not having control of things. Thats why we get scared of paranormal stuff, what MIGHT happen in life, doing things RIGHT, etc. We are control freaks, buddy. :)

but .. right now i'am not going through those bad episodes of strong thoughts. I can just ignore thinking about those and carry on ( still i fell for those sometimes every day or atleast get frasturated ) .. Its better than before , but not perfect. So i think OCD is'nt performing much of a job here?

When i think about it again , its like i'am 100% sure , and its perfectly logical and real. I'am not scared or overwhelmed by any emotions for which i'll believe on it. The damn movie make no sense. Its like two different movies were cut off and made one and i saw one of those full movies and also the one which was made by ripping parts of the two movies. Confusing? yeah! .. I was watching a movie Galaxy Quest© and i kept on thinking about one of its comic scenes in which a guy says that 'A red thingy is comming towards a blue thingy .. i think we are the blue thingy'... I saw this scene a thousands time and thought about it the same .. but almost two weeks ago when i watched this movie again and that scene appeared the guy actually said 'A red thingy is comming towards a green thingy .. i think we are the green thingy' . I got so much crazed about it , i went on a movie forum and posted a topic asking what was the actual dialog. A good guy there checked out the dialogs and told me it was 'Green' ( you may have POSSIBLY seen that one ) ..

The best i could do was to ignore or ahhhhhh.. this feels ok sometimes but sometimes it really irritates me!

Oh ! and ya .. that movie ( ripped off one i mentioned before ) also had a OCD sufferer as the main character and his habits were serving a imp. part of the storyline. Maybe you saw that movie! maybe that threw some impact on my mind or maybe not! ..

And then anything which flashes in my mind , i just get this feeling that i should do something about it . Post it on boards , think about it , dance like a rabbit , just want to do something!! Posting on boards feels good to share but not like that i need to post it RIGHT NOW or i may forget and this mystery will remain a mystery .. i need to ignore all this stuff COZ something like this is comming in my mind RIGHT NOW!
