I have the Freestyle Flash meter and have for awhile, but something made me rethink how I was testing and I don't have directions anymore..Am I supposed to put one side of strip on the blood drop and then remove and wait for results or hold it there until result registers.

Hi,

You use one side of the strip (they make the point to only use one side). When the strip has enough blood, the meter will beep. Then you can take your finger away and wait for the meter to beep again with the result. I hope this is clear. Let me know if it isn't.

Thanks I understand your directions completely...I don't know how I missed it..well, actually I do..I have a tendency not to wear my reading glasses and try and see and "figure" things out..I wasn't sure if I was supposed to wait for first beep and then continue to hold it there til next beep and reading or take it away after first beep...I got to thinking I better know for sure because I want to be as acurate as I possibly can and now I know...thanks again.
