My doctor took my blood pressure and it was 96/54, people have told me that is very low, but she did nothing about it. She just smiled and carried on with the routine. Is my blood preassure of normal standards, and if not, would this cause dizzy spells when I'm in the sun, or black outs when I stand up?

It had to have been 96/54, not the other way around.
While that is on the lower end of normal, it would depend on what you usually run.

That was in the middle of the day, so my motor was pretty alive. But when you say "what you usually run" does that mean it can fluctuate a lot? I don't go to the doctor often, but after that I had it taken and it seemed to be the same.

Well, I would be glad to trade. If you feel fine, it's fine. High bp is the silent killer, low bp is only a problem if causes symptoms.

I would also be thrilled with that kind of blood pressure. Don't worry about it because as you get older :D it gets higher  My 24 year old daughter has low bllod pressure to. 100/65. Keep well

I forgot to answer your questions. Yes it can make you slighty dizzy, my daughter is sometimes, especially when you stand up or get up too fast. Her doctor to eat a little extra salt to bring up the pressure.

My mom has blood pressure this low, and she has no problems whatsoever.
