This is about my tooth left of my 2 front teeth.

One morning last month nothing was wrong. Had a bacon sandwich for breakfast, still did'nt notice anything. Then that afternoon, I noticed a little peice of the tooth had chipped. It was nothing major but had me curious. Today I was chewing some gum and the gum had a little hard speck in it and of course it hit the tooth in question. So the tooth chipped in to 3 very small peices. The biggest was maybe the size of > - <, the line in the middle. Maybe a hair bigger. I don't know whats going on. Please help, thanks.

How odd. Did you maybe have a crack that you weren't aware of that eventually broke off? That's the only thing I could think of that you may have done, as teeth aren't usually going to break off just from chewing unless there was some prior damage or a weakened spot. You may wish to have your dentist take a look at it - I assume it isn't really noticeable to the eye, just something you can feel? If it's just some small pieces that broke off of the tip, and there isn't something else going on, he can probably file the end to smooth it....but you need to have him look at it just to make sure there isn't another piece that's ready to come off, and also to make sure the tooth is still structurally sound.
