I was diagnosed with aids in Dec and have been with my boyfriend for over 3 years, I don't know how I contracted it , he is neg. I feel alone most of the time is anyone else going through this. I also have hpv, and may have cervical cancer is this part of the aids or something else.

Im not going through quite what you are but i feel crap. My bf has just been diagnosed with HIV and both of us are trying to take it. Its pretty hard though cos my Mum has thrown me out over it all. Im living with him now and its tough. Just stick in there and be strong...... take care

i think hpv is common. theres hundreds of different kinds of hpv. ive heard some people clear up on their own. ive also heard if someone has a wart and touches something if you come along and touch it then you get one too. what kind of hpv did you get diagnosed with? i remember when i was young my mom had a really bad case of warts on her hands and she got them surgically removed. i know theres a big difference between warts and genital warts. i know ALOT of people that deal with warts. ive even had a couple on my hands 2 years ago but they went away. ive also had 2 children and was checked so i dont have hpv but like i said theres hundreds of different kinds of hpv out there and its common.

Im so sorry the both of you are going through this. Charlie- ive never understood how a parent can just throw out a child. im very sorry you are dealing with that. Hopefully they will come around and realize whats really going on.

I'm going through the same thing as you. I found out in Jan that i was +, my partner is also neg and we been together for 8 years. I also feel alone but thing do get better, i find coming on here helps as you know other people are going thorugh the same thing as you and this is where you can relax and talk about HIV without being judged by anyone.
There are people on here who give some excellent advise.
