Hi! My doctor prescribed me Progestrone tablets to bring on my period (Prometrium) so that I can begin taking my 2cd round of Clomid ( I am currently on cd 46) He gave my 5 tablets and told me to start taking them Sunday June 18th. He told me if I didnt start after that to call him and we would have to take another course of action. My question is how long after my last pill will it take for my period to start???? anyone have any expreience with this?

I took progestin to bring on my period a few cycles back. My RE told me that it can take up to 2 weeks to start my period after my last pill. They also told me that if I am in full flow while still taking the pills to discontinue taking them. I only had to take 3 pills and then AF started heavily. I hope this helps. Good luck!

That must be so frustrating! You just want AF to come on so you move on to the next round of ttc. What a bummer. I used to have long cycles when I was a teenager. Then when I went off BCP in '96, I thought it would get erratic again, and it never did. LIke clockwork. Every month. Always 27-30 days. Sometimes, maybe twice a year, I would have a long cycle, like 33 days. So in '03 I wasn't thinking much when AF was late... So I waited till I was a week late before testing (couldn't face a BFN again). Anyhoo... I'm rambling...
