OKay, I've been a slow eater pretty much all my life. Most have told me that it's a good thing, as eating too fast is not good for you.
But I have noticed that I might be eating "too slow?" I guess a normal meal might take me about 40 minutes to finish? It really depends on the meal, that is. However, I am a talker as well, and if I strike up a conversation I take longer to finish.
Meats are really what take me longer to finish as opposed to soup meals. But I'm always last to finish either way. As of a year ago, it was scary that I started to choke a lot on some foods; really don't know for sure if it was b/c I didn't chew them well, or simply my tongue may, at times, unwillingly push unchewed food down.
I've been scared by all that, so I do chew extra long. But am I taking too long to eat? Is it a bad thing? And if it's not cp related, what can it be? Have I just become a slow eater?
