Is it back related, or stomach related? I've got pain in my low dorsals (like T12/L1) and pain that is just north and a little left of my navel. I don't know which is referred and which is the source. I can watch my stomach (on that side) twitch as if from muscle twitching or spasms, and feel the gas or muscles, flickering through the area.

I do have GERD, and I also have back issues -- anyone else experience this?

Are you on a PPI for the GERD? I experienced the same type of pain near the navel as a side effect of achipex. Also had terrible back pain. Hope this might help in some small way.

Common side effects of PPI meds. Protonix , which I am on, causes these type of things to happen.
