View Full Version : Blushing +Acne= Depression?

I know I have depression, and have and will deal with it for the rest of my life. It's about management now. My question is does anyone else feel they have these 2 problems, acne or blushing easily when your bouts of depression are at their worst for you?

I haven't blushed like this in years, I just feel uncomfortable for no reason and can't really form or say my thoughts as well as I want. I'm also breaking out worse than I ever have with acne and I'm 28 and should not have zits anymore!

I definately have the acne problem, I am 32, all over my chest and back. As for the blushing I know I worry alot more that I am going to stutter or my voice is going to give way both are not pleasant and a reality

take care

Hi DD17

The acne...yes I'm starting to suspect there is a relationship. I've been battling the old skin problems for the past week or so and right now I'm on a low. I'm 29 by the way and feel I shouldn't be doing this either.

The blushing...well I've been told a few times in the past that I'm look healthy with rosey cheeks when I want to reply "Yeah? Well I feel like crap!"

Always before I get sick my skin breaks out. Both reasons may be down to the fact that my appetite/diet goes haywire around the time of lows. Not sure though, I actually eat less around this time. A good question though, not one I would have the courage to ask! :D

Best,
Charme
