View Full Version : NAET and anxiety

I recently underwent NAET allergy testing and treatment. The practitioner uses NAET as a foundation but does the treatments differently. He treated me for several environmental substances at once, then gives you a vial to wear on your ankle for 12 hours and gives homeopathic drops to take home. This man was highly recomended by a couple of people and his waiting list is 2-3 months long for new patients so I figured he must have an idea what he's doing, as he's in our town and I had never heard of him or seen any advertising for his practice.

That evening I was extremely fatigued and figured it was the treatment. Within 36 hours of the treatment I had developed some pretty serious anxiety and stomach upset. The next day I was very tight in the chest and my allergies seemed worse. I called the practitioner (who is a Chiropractor) and he told me to cut the drops down from 5 per day to 3 per day. Since I was feeling so poorly I decided to cut down to zero and wait for improvement before I continue.

I had an anxiety issue in the past and never had anything like this, especially since I was feeling great emotionally before the treatment.

Does anyone have any experience with NAET and any adverse reactions to it?

Thanks in advance!

I had NAET treatments for awhile. I did have trouble w/the Homeopathic drops. I was sensitive to them altho they treated me for them & I was told I would not have a problem with them. They usually gave me a migraine headache & sometimes stomach upset. They usually have a high volume of alcohol. I was always tired after a session but anxiety was no worse than b/4 treatment. I still haven't decided if the treatments helped my allergies. I will say some of my food allergies are better but after reading all their books I still don't understand how their treatments could change things. Are you feeling better now that you stopped taking drops? Good luck!

I stopped taking the drops. I called him and he said he also treated my sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems. I figured OK what are those. Well I look them up and sure enough, every symptom that was stirred up can be related to them. He wants me to come in and get my drops reworked to include only the environmentals that he treated me for. I'm not sure, as I am very very slowly starting to see some improvement. My appetite has started to return and the abdominal discomfort comes and goes where it was here all the time. This all started one week ago on Friday and I was treated on Thursday. HMMMM Makes me wonder if I should try again, as alot of the fatigue and other symptoms may be allergies that do not respond to regular treatment.

Thanks for the response
