I have Gerd and haital hernia. I am on Prilosec. I get a lot of gas during the day and frequent burping. At night when I sleep, the gas apparently moves to the bowell. I awake several times nightly to release massive gas pockets. Does this happen to anyone but me? I have tried simitecone and it does not help at all.
