After three months,

what can you expect to experience/most likely to have experienced - syptoms wise is you did indeed contract HIV? Three months prior?

Thank You

Also,

Would they differ from man and woman? Also would they be severe?

Thanks Again.

I know you can't diagnos symptom wise, but I have heard that you usally get pretty sick, or feel sick after contracting this? Is this true, any truth to it?

Thanks

Well, in some cases people develope AIDS Related Syndrome (ARS) usually about two to three weeks post exposure. THis could be, typically, flu-like symptoms. However, this does not happen in all cases... And no, there is no difference between ARS related symtoms between a man and a woman. Why would you think there would be? chris

Heard something about yeast infections?

SO If I have experienced NO Flu-Like Symptoms after 3 months...What do you think?

Thanks

I would think you had no flu-like symptoms. But, I wouldn't suggest that this meant you were HIV negative (or positive). You see, not everyone developes those symtoms.

First Off,

Thanks for the replies...

Here is what happened..

Early March,
I had unprotected sex with this girl I knew from high school. SHe was on her period, and we had sex for 10 min maybe. Nothing else. I never got off. I had no cuts or anything on my penis.

I never thought about it again till end of May.

I started to panic because my girlfriend was having frequent Yeast Infections, two a month. She has had them before, but I do have anxiety and panic, So instently I thought STD, and then HIV/AIDS.

I thought back over the past two months April, May....

Nothing...No bad feelings, no sickness, no pains....but i was still scared.

So, I called the girl who I had slept with....This was very hard to do...I basically asked her if she was clean. She said she had been tested after us, and she was fine. I said no HIV or STD or anything, and she said, NO.

I was so relieved! But I have recently started to think about it again. I has been 3-4 weeks since I talked with her....

I started to look up symptoms for HIV/AIDS on the net...

Well, looks like I have experineced some of them over the past three months:
-Sore throat / Like Strep with white on tonsils. I got this after my GF had it for a few days. Took a little of her Penicillan and it went away.
-Some Night Sweats . Could be nerves about this, or just hot.
-Not sure if my NODES are hurting, sometimes I feel discomfort in that area, but I also work out so it could be muscle related.
-Somewhat tired at night, But I play basketball, golf, tennis, work out, so I am very active.

It just sucks, when you see the symptoms, and then experience them...It really goes right to my head.

You have to understand, I didn't think twice about any of this for over 2 months. Then one day I was like dang, I could have HIV/AIDS.

That is the story, everything I have experienced or felt. Not sick at all, Nor my girlfriend, Not sick at all. Just the sore throat thing.

What do you think? Honestly?

Thanks for listening.

I think you feel guilty.
Your gf was on anti-biotics for a sore throat and she got thrush.
Pretty normal stuff for a girl on AB's.
Also - you took a few? - thats really silly mate. So she couldn't finish her course and you did nothing to help yourself.
You caught a sore throat from her - why didn't you go to the doctors like she did ?
Get a grip - get over the guilt and move on.
You've got 2 choices here - forget about it all or get tested.
And of you REALLY think you need testing you better stop having unprotected sex with your gf and come clean.
