hey.. im new here so HEY all!.. i got soo much going on with most me and friends that im helojg so this is just 1 thing i need some help with.. firstly.. are there any really really effective natural antidepressants?.. and also, my friend is worrying me right now.. she fakes a smile way to much and often feels really depressed and I HATE LIFE seems to be her best phrase... me and her really relate with so much and thats like the best strength in our relationship but i cant do everything.. i dont know how to help her anymore.. she has been on meds for years.. tried counselloring etc but hasnt helped..now she feels she is beyond help so doesnt help herself and relys on me in order for her to survive.. its great that we r support each other but im like her life-line and i cant really cope 100% on my own without any1 elses opinion... i mean she feels negelated quite easily to be honest...I am (like her) a private person and find it hard to trust so here is the best place... How can i help?... and also she uses soo many coping statergies and one being getting high sumtimes... not good at all.. i drink or used to a lot to ecape and be that lil bit high but she is older than me and has soo much more responsibility than me... what can i say to try persuade her otherwise but not be judgemental or scare her into thinking im accusing her and im not v trusting???.. pwb xx

Hi,

There are some questions I need answered before I can suggest anything that might help. How old are you and your friend?? Are either of you married?? Have kids?? No drugs, other than the weed and drinking. I can comment on that. Getting high on weed or drinking will only make you and your friends problems worse.

I know you are very concerned about her. If she won't seek help there is nothing you can do. Maybe you could tell her that. If you both went to therapy (different ones) it might help you keep your friendship and understand each other better. If you have problems, they have to be dealt with before you can possibly help your friend.

I do see a lot of hope. Two young ladies with problems that need to be diagnosed. You haven't had a proper dianoses yet, have you??

I with there was more I could do. Keep posting and maybe some of the others will be able to give more suggestions than me.

Take Care and Good Luck!....WW
