Hi,
I have a 12 week old DS with cradle cap. I was able to help it alot with washing it gentley daily with a soft toothbrush and a little baby soap after letting it remain wet to soften the dry skin. The problem is that his hair is falling out and he does not have much to begin with so I have just been using a wash cloth and it is not helping much. Have any of you had luck with any other method? TIA

I rub some oil into his scalp with his baby brush that I got at the hospital.the square ones and leave it there while I get his bath ready..I put a small bit of oil on the scalp, then brush his scalp gently to flake off the crust. It seems to work really well. It is going away....
I use a special oil from an all natural company ...but I guess you can use baby oil just as well.

Dd is 8 months and still has a tiny bit. We use baby oil and then brush her hair backwards(her ped. said that would help) and it's improved a lot. It's just one of those things.
