if u read my last post about my blood sugar i have been keeping tract of it and my concern is that in the morning it goes below 60 after i hjavent eaten for over 8 hrs is that bad????:eek: how low is normal for ur blood sugar to drop after u eat i mean after an hour or so .....and could an ovarian cyst that is benign cause this blood sugar thing i feel lightheaded all the time even when my blood sugar is ok why is that

Probably......didn't eat very much 8 hour ago......or longer?? My consider increasing input a little....right? (....and see a doctor if you think you should..?)

60 is too low, niki. Are you having a good bedtime snack - one with protein/fat/carbs to carry you through? I hope with a reading of 60 that you've got your breakfast (and a good one - again with protein/carbs/fat) already made, ready to eat and enough to carry you through to snack/lunch? You shouldn't go below 70 to be safe. My question at 70 is..am I feeling OK? Do I feel like I'm crashing/ on the downward slide? Regardless, with a number that low...I'd eat. It's the only "cure" for low blood sugar :-)

Any abnomally (cyst or otherwise), could have an effect on your blood sugars. Bring it to your doc's attention so he can do tests.
