Hi, well I just have one question, um I was on birth control for about 13 days and had unprotected sex on my 12, I took the morning after pill then very next day, it hadn't even been 24 hours, my question is how effective it the Morning After pill? Is there still a chance I could be pregnant?

You should have been fine just on the birth control after 12 days as most pills are effective after 7 if taken correctly. Add that to the 89% effectiveness of Plan B, and you have a minimal risk of pregnancy.

I'll have to agree with sarahlovy and say that after 7 days you are protected. Unless you heard otherwise to wait a month or something like that, then i would see where you are coming from as it's always good to all precautions.
even though the morning after pill could have a higher percentage rate of working..it in fact does work! Especially if taken when a good time frame. I took plan b within 24 hours at planned parenthood. The woman there asked how long it's been and i said like 14 hours, and she alright then you'll be fine. The morning after pill works better than people think it would. It's the woman who take there good old time getting the morning after pill,(since you have 72 hours, sometimes 120 hours) that cause the low percentage rate. Im almost for sure that you will be fine!
