My husband has been using Hoodia for 5-6 weeks now, and he's gone from 208 to 191. He's using a brand that he bought off the internet. I don't think I can list the product here, but it wasn't the cheap stuff. I was skeptical, but he is eating much smaller portions of food since he's been on it with no side effects ( besides losing weight ;) ). I tried it myself for only one day, and didn't feel much different, but I don't eat large portions anyway. I read somewhere that Hoodia may not work on people with O type blood ( I have O, hubbie has AB ). I don't know if it's true or not. My husband has felt like he can control his eating for the first time in a long time. His goal is 175, but I think that may be too thin.
It has no stimulant effect like ephedra.
He did his homework and studied different brands and what to look for before he bought.

You can share the brand name you are using, but not the website where you purchased it. Please share the brand you are using so that the rest of us can give it a try too!

He's been using both Hoodia911 or Desertburn. It's been costing him a fortune, but it may even out with how much less groceries I've been buying;)
Like I said, I'm not sure Hoodia works on everyone . He's tried Xenidrene, Hydroxie Cut -sp, and a couple other products before, the hoodia has been the only product that has given him more than a couple pound loss. In Dec., he weighed 214lbs. He started eating better after the new year, cut out soda, lost about 6-7 lbs, then stagnated for months at 208lbs. I kept telling him to try counting his calories, and try to stay around 1500-1800 calories a day. He just couldn't get his calories down below 2000 a day. Now I have to remind him to eat, it's weird. He's been at a plateau of 191lbs for over a week now, but I know he will keep losing, because I estimate that he's eating about 1200-1300 calories a day now. He's making really good food choices too, veggies, fruit, lean meat sandwiches, he has not craving for fatty pizza or fast food. He can tell when he forgets a pill though, so it must not accumulate in the body long.

Were either the brands I mentioned? Just curious, I'm not sure how it works either. Seems hit of miss with who it works for.
