It all started last night when I began to have some pain in the left side of my stomach. Like right under my ribs. It started out as a stabbing pain but ended up being a kind of dull ache. It kept me up for a long while last night and I tried to put a heating pad on to relax any muscules and itw as kind of strange cause like my whole stomach was relaxed except for that one spot. This morning it had kind of gone away but I could still feel it, kind of like a headache that hasn't come up yet? Hard to explain but anyway, I took a NuLev which is for spastic Colon that the GI dr gave me and the pain pretty much went away but I got some nausea with the pill. Later the pain came back and my mom called the dr and she asked me if I wanted to go to the ER and i was like, "um no cuz as soon as I get there it will more than likely just disappear." Anyway any ideas as to why the pain in the left side? I'd hate to go to the ER for somethin really dumb but also hate to ignore it. Ill be goin to the GI doc on monday if it doesnt clear up though.

Shanny are you still having all the other problems that you had after your endoscopy? Your pain in the side could have been a gas pocket.

I have something like that too.I did a post in the colon cancer area.I don't have it as far as I know,but check my story out.I posted there because that's where I ended up.So please read and leave a post.Thanks.

CanyonBabe-yes i have been having a lot of problems still since the endo and it possibly could have been a gas pocket. I can still feel it kinda like in the back of my ribs, like its there, but its not. I am still taking the NuLev now 4xs a day as the dr said to and its been keeping the pain to a minimum.

I also have something very similar, but mine is on my ride side..I have had this pain on and off for about a year..I have had and ultra sound, catscan and endoscopy and everything was fine...regular doctor and gastro doctor have both pushed on my gallbladder and no pain at all, not even a tringe of pain, so they ruled out gallbladder...both doctors think it could be more like a muscle problem ( I do alot of computer work, and it could be coming from my back) but I have also notice about a week before my period it comes on very strong...very strange.
