OKay here's are my questions...
If you go over your calorie level for the day, can you make up for that by eating less the next day??
for example: if you're on a 1500 calorie diet and eat 1700 one day..can you cut those extra 200 calories out by eating 1300 the next day?
and..
Does it matter if you have a calorie deficit for the day, or the week, or what??
so say i only burn 1800 calories a day and i eat 2000 instead..that's a calorie surplus..but if i end up a deficit for the entire week, does that work??
does that all make sense?? lol
thanks guys!

Yup Its a Deficit over time that Matters... Be it a Day, a week, a month, or a year.
if you have a calorie deficit of 35000 calories for the month then Theoritically you will have lost 10 lbs of fat.
I say theoretically because you never really know what your deficit is, you can only estimate.

I do this. (I believe it was Birdie who gave me the advice in the first place!)
I try to count by a week. This way, I don't feel bad on the weekends when i tend to splurge quite a bit. I'm very strict during the week, and on the weekends I still count calories, but let myself eat a lot more. I never thought this would work, but it does. I'm kind-of on maintenace, but I've still been LOSING a little weight eating this way. (And I upped my calories quite a bit to decrease the deficit I had during weight loss).
So yes, you CAN do it, as long as you try to stay as accurate as you can.
