Propecia usually runs about $2/tablet. If you buy in larger quantities, there is usually some discount. There is no generic.

As far as how much you can purchase at once, that's limited by how your prescription is written. If your physician writes the script for 30 tablets with 11 refills, you can only get a one month supply at a time. It's not custom for physicians to write a script for an entire year's worth of medication at once, without refills. The most that's generally prescribed at once is a 3-month supply.
