i have been having muscular aches in my arms, legs and my neck feels stiff and horrible! and my lower back aches too. i get very tired sometimes too! but i can still do things apart from things that require too much effort and have alot of balance problems.
I have read that dizziness is a common problem with fibro cant remember why though/
i think i have it as i dont have ear or brain probs and the muscle aches are always here! new ache everyday! been going on for 2 months
please help

You don't mention if you have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia at this point. If you have, then no, you dont' have to be in pain, although it may take you a couple doctors to find one that will prescribe meds for the pain you are having. In my opinion..there are medicines out there for pain that we can take...and no one should have to suffer needlessly.

No, you don't have to be in pain. FMS is diagnosed if your doctor finds you have pain when specific points on the body are manipulated; you exhibit some of a long list of symptoms for over six months (not all are pain); and the symptoms can not be explained any other way. That is why the doctor does a lot of tests.
Our daughters started with flu like symptoms and really didn't exhibit much pain except headaches as teenagers. When they started into their twenties, they started getting more pain in other areas of their bodies.
