Multi-Enzyme Formula
This product is a digestive aid for proteins, fats and carbohydrates.* Ingredients include betaine hydrochloride, pancreatin, amylase, protease, bromelain, papain, pepsin, ox bile, lipase and cellulase. Enzymes break down the nutritional components of proteins, fats and carbohydrates, making these nutrients available for the body’s energy needs, cell growth and other vital functions.* This product is coated for ease of swallowing and may also help reduce the effects of poor digestion, including heartburn, gas and other occasional gastrointestinal discomforts.* Adults can take two (2) tablets before or after a meal.

I have IBS-C and I am more concerned about the gas and bloating?? I was looking on this vitamin site and seen this.
Did anyone ever try it and did it work?
I think I am going to try to just eat more fiber and try to control the gas cause i tryed EVERYTHING.
but anyway talk about that later.
Thanks for you comments.I have been busy on the board today.

Yes, digestive enzymes help tremendously with the bloating. I have been taking them for a month and my ibs symptoms have dramatically improved. Digestrol is one such product, but very expensive. GNC makes a good digestive enzyme with the same ingredients for 1/10 the cost.

peace

I searched the GNC site for digestive enzymes but couldn't find one that had the same ingredients as Digestrol. Are you allowed to give us the name of the product that you found that was a lot cheaper? I would like to find it.
