I have been a lurker for awhile now and everyone seems so nice so I thought I would begins posting. Well, to start I have gained around 80 pounds in 5 years. That is alot for my 5'4 body as I am now 230 lbs. I had a baby last year and lost all the baby weight right away, but then it came back plus some. The year before that I had knee surgery so that whole summer was spent in physical therapy, surgery, more therapy, and laying around. I used to very active in sports, swimming, and cycling. Now I feel too fat and lazy to to anything. I recently found out that I have PCOS, sorry boys tmi, so that may explain some of my issues. I am so ready to lose weight as there are so many things I love to day and can't anymore. One of which is run around with my toddler!! Here is my dilema.....Portion Control!! I do great for breakfast, lunch, and snacks, but supper, I pig out!! I am thinking or trying Adipex (phenteramine), but am afraid to buy online. Anybody have success with any appetite suppressants? Any good experiences with online pharmacies? Sorry so long. Posts will be much shorter, I promise.:)

:) Hello friend, I had a baby 6.5 months ago and lost most of my baby weight but recently I have put on several pounds that I would like to lose. I was exercising and losing weight when I got pregnant so I have some pre-pregnancy weight to lose also. I would like to lose about 20 pounds.

I recently purchased the Tae-bo tapes and have been doing them for 2 days now. I love them. Have you tried them? I live in a little town where we have no place to go workout so I have to use home workouts if any.

What type of exercise are you doing?

I'd love to hear back from you.

Encouragement is key to losing weight and staying MOTIVATED!!!

Have a good Friday.

Hi elmstlover...I would reccomend against taking appetite supressors as eventially you'll have to get off these and then risk putting weight back on. You said you like to swim..so you should try to get back into the water as its great on joints and ligaments. See if your community has an YMCA as this is a great way to get back in shape without worring about the ''Meat Markets'' at other gyms/spas. Good luck !!

brandnewmom~This is my workout schedule: 20 minutes on the treadmill, 15 minutes of weights, and then about 7 minutes (that is all I can do right now!) on the elliptical. I have been blessed to have all this at home also. I try to do this about 5-7 days a week and just bought a few videos to try and mix it up. Also, having a 1 year old that does not always nap in the morning can throw you off. He likes to watch while I do the videos so hopefully this will work. Were you very overweight before? Sorry if that is too personal. 6foot3~We just had a Y open a few months ago. I want to join, but am trying to convince my hubby since I have all that workout stuff. I try to explain that it is just not the same! He hates to workout so he has no idea. He is 6'1 and 160 lbs and eats like crazy!!
