HI !

I've been having elevated liver enzymes--specifically ALT level--71 on last test--2 weeks before that it was 40 (35 is the cut off for normal) I had an Ultrasound Monday--- my liver appears fine but I have gallbladder polyps--- I was just hoping to find others who might has heard of this or have them? I haven't had any pain--which reading the previous posts make me say--THANK GOD!!! http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif but I don't go to the Doc again till end of Jan.--- so I don't know what she will want to do about them--- any help would be appreciated !!!

I have a gallbladder polyp also. Not sure yet what will be done about it. Also have crohn's disease so I'm sure that will have some bearing on whether they operate or not.

I have multiple gallbladder polyps and am due for another ultrasound at the end of March. Alot of doc's don't know how to manage polyps. My gyn at Mayo said they never go away and the gallbladder will eventually have to come out! She said an ultrasound should be done every 6 months(don't know why they wait). It sounds like with any polyps there is a chance of cancer. I found that out on a web-site about gallbladder polyps. My pain is there all the time sometimes is real strong. But they said gallbladder polyps should not cause pain-I say to heck with that!!!
Let me know what you all find out.
