I have about 150 lb to lose, i have just come through major surgery having a hystorectomy for womb cancer stage 2B and radio therapy, which i came through really well considering the size of me.
I struggle big time with exercise and i am lazy !
Hubby and i are going to go back to Rosemary connolly club next week as we both lost 5 stone when we went before but life events hit us hard with the death of my sister and mum and my dog.
I have now decided to get my butt into gear and get the fat off me, but i dont have anyone to chat to and encourage me along the way.

Hi, I would love to have people to help encourage me as well. I would like to think I'm a great support for tough times but its hard when you are also going through those same tough times.
Your post intrigued me, I too was doing great with my weight loss up until the loss of my "step" father and more recently my uncle who was very much a father to me. It's quite amazing what stress can do to your weight. I have about 150 lbs to lose as well. I don't feel ready to start any program about my weight so I am going gung ho about this myself at first to see if I can do it on my own but am ready to accept help from other places if it is needed.
I'm sorry but I have to ask what is a stone? I have seen it in so many post but feel at loss cause I don't know what it is.
I feel everyone is trying to lose weight for an ultimate goal. Maybe it be for health reasons or for a more personal reason. Myself I am doing this because I want to start a family. I have talked to my doc about it before and he feels that I need to lose some significant amount of weight before starting to really get into the whole trying to conceive.

What is your ulitimate goal for loosing weight?
