some antidepressants can cause a decrease in saliva leading to disorders in the mouth. I am getting checked out for a stone in my salivary gland right now. Just another thing to be aware of .

Yeah......Nortriptyline gave me the worst dry mouth. My physician advised me to drink plenty of fluids and use throat lozenges.
