so my finace called the Dr office and the nurse says his results arein but they have to get a hold of the Dr. so he can call the results in to my fiance.

Why can't the nurse just tell him over the phone?!? the nurse was the one who gave me my result. but that was a different Dr. office.

Does the fact that they need to Dr. to give him the result mean the news is bad?!?

I'm sitting here at my desk at work waiting for him to call me back and I think i'm having a panic attack. Typing this post is the only thing keeping me going right now.

I can't tell if you're in the US or not. But, if you're in the US there are new laws regarding (actually they're about three years old) called HIPPA. The nurses at your fiance's doctor couldn't, shouldn't, and wouldn't (if you're in the US) give you his results. How does she know who you say you are? etc. etc. Seems to be perfectly within reason to me....chris

well the Dr called earlier this evening and even though he could not give the results directly to me, he did tell me that we have nothing to worry about. I told him that i've been a nervous wreck waiting for the results and he said, "everything is just fine and you have nothing to worry about, does that make you feel better? just have John call me as soon as he can so we can go over the results"
