Just wanted a few ideas as to what you all do with your little ones all day? My DS is 5.5 months old and I was wondering if anyone had some new ideas to keep us busy and what you do with your babies.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Thanks! skeetersquirt 06-23-2006, 02:11 PM We do all kinds of things during the day. He naps alot, but when he is awake we play games. I bought a swimming pool for the backyard, a blow-up one and I have it under the trees in the shade...we go in that. I let him swim naked because he LOVES being naked~! It is HOT outside, but I have it in enough shade to be enjoyable. We also go to a play center for babies. It IS hard, my DS is only 3 months old and it is a constant thing to keep them busy and to play with them.....BUT it wears my DS out and he takes long naps and sleeps all night...what a tradeoff. :D weepyone 06-23-2006, 06:17 PM we go for walks i talk to him all the time i play with him on his play gym, door bouncer, watch tv with ds in his bouncy chair, pop him in his walker activity thing. read him stories and sing nursery rhymes, visit friends and family. on a weekly basis go to baby clinic and baby group.we also complted a baby massage group together. i do try to get out the house a lot as being a mommy is a 24/7 job i don't want to be a 24/7 prisoner in my own home i would go bananas otherwise. of course stuff like baths, nappy changes and feeding takes up time too. plus i shop a lot with ds spoiling him rotten. hope there are some ideas you can pinch here:) my ds is almost 4 months |
