I have tried and have been advised by my physician to try this type of low/"good" carb diet. I have sucessfully dropped ten + pounds on this diet (eating a lot!) in a very short period. However, I could not stand to go on it for long...when i eat this way i immediately feel "out of it" and cannot function in my day. My body seems to need the carbs. Is this normal? I would love to go on this diet as a lifestyle but just can't. Can anyone give me advice or answers???

How low of Carbs is it? Very low Carb or only Moderate low Carb? Many People Will feel very sluggish if they dont get enough carbs. It is very Normal as your Body Needs Carbs. your Brain Cannot use Fat for Energy it needs Carbs.

Do a search fort Side Effects of Low carb and you will see. This does not happen to everyone but It does for very many.

Low/"good" carb can mean so many things. It might be easier to respond if you posted more specifically what you eat.
