i went off the pill earlier this year and have not ovulated/had period since. i had my hormone levels checked (FSH 4.6 and LH 10.0) and my skin has been breaking out which i have now controlled with a topical antibiotic. i have no other symptoms. i am having a pelvic ultrasound next saturday to look for/rule out pcos, is it likely that i could have it? thanks in advance for your comments!! :)

Hi! Although it IS a possibility, it's definitely NOT LIKELY. :) After going off the pill, a lot of women have problems with their hormones because you get used to the exact same amount of them in your body -- and when you no longer have the aid of that regularity, things are bound to go a little haywire. These types of things often straighten out on their own with time.
However, if you went on the pill for acne, had excessive hair, etc., etc., and had hormone problems BEFORE you went on it, (meaning that you used the pill for something other than BC), that may raise suspicion.
Good luck and I hope nothing is wrong! Take care!
