Does obsessive thinking class as ocd? I find myself constantly memorising imaginary conversations so that if someone starts talking to me I will know what to say. When I go through thoughts in my head (almost constantly) I hate people talking to me because it interupts my concentration. These thoughts drive me mad because they only way I can escape them is by sleeping.

Hey man. Yes it does, to answer your question. Obsessive thinking is a characteristic of Pure Obsessional, a form of OCD. What you describe sounds quite obsessive in nature, especially when you mention about being interrupted and having to sleep to escaope the thoughts.
I would recommend seeing a doc, as Pure O can be quite a problem. Maybe try researching it on the net too.
