Hello,
My 4 year old daughter has caught chicken pox from a pupil in her school. The pox started to appear on Thursday. Our worry is that we are flying to Spain Saturday week(9 days later). Can she still fly and is there information that we need to know.

P.S. we are using calamine cream and pitron syrup of which seems to be working.

Wayne.

Hi!
My son is now into his 4th day of chicken pox:( I have been on lots of Sites
and searching for info! Hope this helps.
The viral infection is transferred from one person to another through direct contact with the broken chickenpox blisters and through airborne droplets.

The infectious period lasts from about three days before the rash appears until all the blisters have formed scabs.

The incubation period between being infected with chickenpox until the disease breaks out and symptoms appear is 10 to 20 days.
Hugs
Coco
