hey guys, well about the last 4 or 5 days i've had this pretty bad sore throat with no other symptoms, except a mild pain in my right ear. it just sorta sprung up over night. I smoke occasionaly like 3 - 4 a week. My friend is a retired nurse, and she told me its most likely bacterial, and she gave me some anti biotics, penicillin. Do you think theres a chance it could be throat cancer?

it sounds like just a throat infection. Penicillin should help.
