I was wondering if anyone on here had any great ideas for getting rid of those shave bumps and itching in the bikini area? The itching every time I shave lately has been intense for like four to five days. I have tried witch hazel, Bikini Zone cream, neosporin, lotrimin and cortisone cream. Any other ideas?
TIA!

i read on one of these boards if you put deoderant on your bikini area where you shaved right after you shaved it will be smooth and it wont be itchy or bumpy.. i havent tried it yet, so i am not sure if it works, but i am going to try it soon.

^^I read that too! Make sure to use unscented stick deodorant.. I haven't tried it yet either. I always make sure that the underwear I'm wearing isn't rubbing against the bikini line a lot either.. b/c that can be one of the major causes of irritation.
Usually after I've been shaving for a while things get better and it starts going away.. and also not shaving too often. I wait at least a few days to shave again.. and I use a moisturizing body wash to shave instead of a shave gel.
I read that Sally Hansen's medicated pads for shaving work well too.. but they seem similar to bikini zone so I'm not too sure about that..

I have heard, but not tried yet: Shave with baby powder or talc, no water. I am going to try it soon.
