Hi all,
I posted below about coming off the pill after 8 years and what symptoms I should expect.
Ironically, I have also been having panic attacks for the same amount of time I have been on the pill. I FINALLY started seeing a therapist for my problem (I have had enough of this!) On my first visit, the therapist suggested that my birth control pills could be contributing to my anxiety! WHAT A REVELATION!!!!
My panic attacks started around the same time I started the pills (I was also undergoing stress at this time). I have also been very moody and somewhat depressed. The depression could be a side effect of the panic disorder, but it is also a side effect of the pills. The birth control may not be the cause of my anxiety, but it certainly is not helping my situation.
Needless to say, this has convinced me to come off the pills (and we will be starting a family soon :) ) I'm looking forward to see if my anxiety will go away, or at least lessen.
Have any of you experienced this? I will really appreciate you sharing your story.
Thanks and healthy wishes,
Jen

Thanks tnmomofive & hideout!
I am on Tri-Levlen. A few years ago I switched to Yasmin and....WHOA! Didn't do good on that one. So I switched back to the Tri-Levlen.
