I am on Yasmin and have been for the past 3 months (this is my 3rd pack of pills) Today I will take my 3rd placebo pill. My breasts are sore and bigger, I also feel very bloated, but I have not gotten cramps, and I usually do by now. I am nervous I might be pregnant - but I have not missed a pill and have taken them at 4pm every day. I know I still have 4 more days to get it, but I am still so nervous. I had an unplanned pregnancy earlier this year, so that is why I get nervous every month. If anyone could ease my mind, that would be great, or if anyone has experienced the same? I know PMS symptoms could be different each month right?

Yes PMS symptoms can be different each month. I am on the Nuvaring and I am right where you are right now, though my breasts are fine, I usually start my period on friday and its now sunday and i dont feel any symptoms, but am insanely bloated. Granted, my period was a longer than usual last month so that's why it could be later this month. I wouldnt worry too much, you still have four days, and it only being your third month, your body is probably still adjusting. Just out of curiosity, was your unplanned pregnancy while you were on birth control?

im sorry i know this has nothing to do with the thread, but,stisti im on yasmin now, and im switching to the nuva ring next monday, can you shed go good light on the nuva ring, im switching from yasmin due to high emotional problems, lack of sex drive and weight and breast gain! thanks:confused:

I love my nuvaring! I was on BC pills and my body turned into a tornado, so emotional, no sex drive, every symptom imaginable. I switched to nuvaring and it stopped. Barely any side affects, I am a little dryer than usual, but nothing lube cant fix. It had no affect on my sex drive but i do get a bit more discharge than normal. No emotional problem, no breast/weight gain. I just put it in, forgot about it for 3 weeks, then took it out for a ring free week. It's great!
