I am experiencing a pain in my left breast that seems to coincide with my stomach being empty. The pain is
mainly on the inside of the breast and lasts for just about a second. The muscle in my breast is definitely tender, but I noticed the corelation between my stomach growling and my having a pain.
Has anyone else experienced this?

What is the pain like? Are you sure it's actually in your breast and not below it? When I had ulcers, I would get a sharp pain on the left side of my chest (underneath my breast tissue) that sometimes felt like a bubble. My breast would get tender from my repeated clutching and poking of the area. The sharp pain would go away when I ate. Turns out I had an H. pylori infection that caused the ulcers.

The pain feels almost like a nerve-type of pain and
sometimes the entire breast kind of aches. It seems
to be mainly on the inside of the left breast. I saw
my primary care doctor this past Wednesday and she
felt all around the breast and decided that it was a muscle because the area under my arm was kind of tender, too. But later that night the pain was worse and more frequent, that's when I equated it with my
stomach bothering me.
Of course, I was also concerned that it was my heart, but I didn't have any other symptoms and continued to
exercise with no discomfort or pain. But, my doctor put that idea to rest (although I don't think her muscle diagnosis was correct, either).

Hi. I am experiencing the identical thing. I get pain sometimes(not all the time) in my left breast towards the inner side. Sometimes I also get pain under my arm.It is like a nerve pain... or shooting pain only for a couple seconds. I get worried and wonder what it could possibly be. I also suffer from gallbladder symptoms. Any tests I have had have been negative. I have had GB symptoms for about 7 years now. I am tired of not knowing what is wrong. The breast pain just started a couple months ago. Just wondering if it could be due to stress? Or maybe GERD? Have you been to the doctor regarding this pain?

Just found this site looking for a reason for the pains I'm getting in my left breast, seems I'm not alone with this. I often get a very sharp pain for just a second or two going deep into the breast. As I'm being treated for several other things by my doctor, I'm loath to raise yet *another* symptom with him, for fear of sounding a bit like a 'Munchausen'patient. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/redface.gif{
Can anyone give me an idea of what this pain can be? I had a breast screen last year which was clear and I don't have any lumps, it's just that the pain is so intense when I get it ...

A sharp pain on the chest area could be pluerisy.
Esp. if the pain occurs when you inhale. It can last
a minute sometimes longer. It is an inflamation in
the lining of the lungs. Very common usually goes
away. But, if it doesn't go away see a Dr. could be an
infection or something.

Hi, I used to get the breast pain too.
I don't have that problem now.
I found several things tied to the problem.
(1) Gastrointestinal problems
(2) old Spinal injury problems
(3) Hormonal problems
(4) Mulitple problems causing pain
My problems have been helped by addressing
the root need of my systemic problems.
For me specifically I found my answers with a reproductive endocrinologist.

To me it sounds like it's related to GERD. Check on the internet for info related to GERD. Good Luck!
