Hi everyone. I had a call from the IVF nurse today. Looks like I'm ready. I've got 8 good-sized follicles (I know it's not a lot, but they didn't want to go too crazy because I'm only 30 and it's easy to accidently overstimulate) and my lining is apparently good. I'm supposed to take the HSG shot tonight and then we'll be doing the retrieval on Wednesday morning. Can I ask a favour? Can you send me some positive energy? I'm just feeling so insecure and scared. I'm hopeful, of course, and trying to be positive...but I'm worried!

I wish I where there right now. I am just taking the bc pills for my 2nd IVF haven't even started the injections yet. So another words you are in the heart of your process. Embrace it they are going to be putting your babies back inside of you in a few days after tommorrow. You must be super excited!! I will pray that God guides your doctors hands while he is carefully removing your precious eggs! :angel:

Oh, thanks everyone. I was freaking out a little this morning, but then I read your posts and it really brought me a sense of calm. I am going into this with a really positive feeling. I went for final bloodwork today and then spoke to the nurse. She gave me a tiny glass ladybug. She gives one to all of her patients for luck right before the retrieval. Isn't that sweet? She said there's an expression, "Your lady bug day will come." and she's hoping this is my lady bug day. How can I go wrong with all of these positive people supporting me?!
Okay, I'll report back after the retrieval tomorrow. I'm taking the whole day off work to rest.
